Extend prepaid expiration and add more credit.

Hi all!

I'd like to know after how much time of inactivity (no more credit, calls, etc) will my prepaid number be suspended? I moved out of Germany a few months ago but I'd still like to keep my number, so what should I do? Add some credit from time to time? How often?

Also I tried to use express charging and I didn't work, I keep getting this message:

Leider konnte Ihre Aufladung nicht durchgeführt werden.

Bitte versuchen Sie es zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt noch einmal.

Any help?

    you must increase your balance every 6 month to keep SIM alive.

    Can you ask a friend to transfer 1 or more Cent every 6 moth from a german bank account to avoid transfer fee from foreign countries.

    The SIM card is still active, since I can receive calls and SMS. The problem is that when I try to do this Express-Aufladung I keep getting this error and no money is loaded into my number:

    Leider konnte Ihre Aufladung nicht durchgeführt werden.

    Bitte versuchen Sie es zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt noch einmal.

    Any ideas?

    Never heard from Express-Aufladung. I send money from my bank account - works fine.
