I am leaving Germany very soon and wish to cancel my DSL contract.   I was finally able to cancel on-line, and since I have a one month notice period, it says I have a cancellation effective from 31-03-2017, which is fine.



However I am also being told that if I don't call in to cancel within 10 days it will be revoked.  Leaving aside the obvious question of why I have to cancel online AND by phone, is there a number I can use to reach an English speaking operator so I can cancel this contract?
