Discount for DSL Connection Transfer

Hi , Sorry my german is not that good. So writing in English. I got my DSL connection transferred from previous tenant in this house.

In my first moth bill, i got activation fee and advance bill payment for 2 months. But my friends who got new connection asked to pay only 1 month bill and did not get activation charge. And also they got 50 euro credit and 19.99 euro bill for 3 months instead of 29.99 euro for  O2 DSL All-in-M plan . why did not i get such discounts?
