I asked my local O2 shop for help in cancelling my Flex DSL contract (can be cancelled any month) and they handed me a letter that I had to mail to the company. I completed the process but haven't received any confirmation from O2. Is there anything more that I have to do? I am leaving Germany soon and have de-registered myself from my Bürgeramt, so need to sort this out quickly.

I had a look into this. The deactivation is planned for September the 30th. If you recieved a DSL router from us please remember to send it back free if charge using our DSL Retourenportal.
