Contract extended after my cancellation

Hi,

My O2 contract was supposed to be ended as of today and I gave my cancellation within the 3 months required. Vodafone is Porting my number on the 22nd. When I checked online today I see that it says I have a new contract with O2 starting today that ends January 18, 2020, cancelled as of January 22, 2019. Does this mean that I have to pay O2 for another year of service even though I cancelled my original contract?

Hello Kasia1229,

beside the contract, which will be ported to Vodafone, there is another contract, active since May 2017. If you cancel this contract until the 19th of february, it will be terminated on the 19th of may 2019.
