Contract cancellation due to poor signal reception

Hello,

I've made an online cancellation of O2 contract on 04.06.2016 and then wrote a cancellation letter to the O2 to terminate my contract by 04.09.2016.

As I discussed with the O2 customer care over the phone on 11th June 2016 at 15:33 Hrs, I was promised for terminating my current contract by 04.09.2016. The customer care representative has understood me wrong and has deactivated my contract from next year i.e., 04.09.2017.

I've received an email stating deactivation date as 04.09.2017 instead 04.09.2016.

The major reason for the cancellation of the contract is due to the lack of signal reception at my workplace in Babenhausen. Over the last months, very important calls for me missed and it has become a great problem of not having signal.

I've called customer care for more than 10 times and each time they promise me that the contract will be terminated by this year i.e., 04.09.2016. But, I have not received any post as of now.

What can i do in this situation to cancel my contract for this year?

I don't think you will get any help by posting here..!! o2 doesn't care about people who speak English..!!

Looks like i have to agree to you after waiting for so long time and this leaves an impression that queries reported in "English community" acts as filter to ignore.

but after lot of discussions over the phone and Live chat, they agree to cancel my contract... I was told that it takes 14 days that i receive post. After asking for confirmation of cancellation, they agreed to send an mobile SMS.

I'm eagerly waiting to rx the cancellation Post from O2.

The problem in nearly solved not completely. Your colleagues promissed me to send the cancellation confirmation by post. It has been already three weeks since i'm awaiting of the post.

If there is anything wrong with it, just use this thread as your confirmation.

I just checked it again right now. And your number 0176xxxxxx82 will be terminated at the 5th of September 2016.
