Contact Renewal / Cancellation Date

Dear O2 team,

I'd like to make a new 24 months contract for a 'handy mit tarif' but I'm still on a previous contract which was extended automatically and I find the rate price a bit expensive. When I've asked when I could go on a new contract a colleague of yours said it could be this month (March), but when I've visited a shop today in a different city they told me of a different date. Firstly, please let me know if I can apply for a new contract or not?

Secondly, there is a second number on my name which I've never used. They tell me it is for internet use. I've tried to cancel it, and your colleagues approved but somehow it is still there and charges me money. Can you also tell me how and when I can cancel that?

Hi dy1,

as I see you already got an offer of the customer support for an extension of your contract now.

The contract which you have now was not extended automatically. It was a renewal actively of 24 months more.

The possibility that you have now is to cancel your contract or to extend it with another offer. ☺️

the o2 go which you also have (the data tariff) also got extended actively in the past. You can also send a cancellation with the account number and everything for that one. The runtime end is the 7th of November 2019.
