I left Germany on the 23rd of December 2018 and I applied for a premature termination of my cell and DSL contracts. I received an email stating that my cellphone contract has been cancelled, but I am still not sure what the status on my DSL contract is. As I am living in Brazil at the moment, I am not able to receive the post on my old German address, but my former roommate is still living on the address and is receiving the mail in my name. He asked me to change the name on my DSL contract for the address to his name, so he will take over the payment and keep the wifi. However if I go to "Tarif und Optionen -> Vertrag verwalten -> Umzug" to change the owner of the contract, I get the error message: "Diese Funktion ist nur für aktive DSL-Verträge verfügbar."
Does this mean that my contract is already terminated even though I haven't received any confirmation of the cancellation?
Furthermore, in "Tarif und Optionen"the 'Vertragsende' of my contract is said to be 25.06.2020.
Is my contract already cancelled or will it be possible to change the owner of the contract, so my former roommate can keep the Wifi and pay for it on his own?

I had a look into this. Your DSL contract has already been terminated, a transfer to anotehr person is not possible.
