Hi, I just moved into an apartment, and my previous tenant has not cancelled his o2 contract so my internet line is occupied. I want to sign a new contract, can you let my internet line free?
I didn't know my previous tenant, and he is already back to India.

Or, how can I get my internet line free as soon as possible? Literally the line is mine now, not the previous tenant's. And he's out of Germany now, so I don't know whether he can cancel the contract.
Let's say there are two ways to get my line free:
1. O2 company let my internet line free with I showing documents to prove I'm the current tenant of the room;
2. the previous tenant terminates his contract(assuming it's possible) and then O2 company let the internet line free.
I'd like to know the feasibility of each way and how long period each way takes,
Thanks!
