cancelling my contract in a specific date please

Hello,

I have a DSL contract with O2 for 24 months. I've already moved away from Berlin but would like to cancel it in a specific day 31.10.2016.
I did not understand how to do it and if I have a 3 month waiting period before cancel it.
If I understand correctly, I need to send my kündigung letter and the registration form from my new country of residence.
But can I specify a specific date for cancelation?
Right now I can't also see my details in the website and I'm not sure why..😀

Hi gali,

so, you would like to cancel your contract because of moving to another country?

Therefore you just need to write a cancellation letter to the following address:

Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG

Postfach 60 09 40

22209 Hamburg





As well as the cancellation letter (where you can also mention the date of course, but the final decision does the company and the people of the cancellation department) you have to hand in the deregistration form of your place of residence, as well as the registration form of your new city (if you don't have one it's also ok to hand in the confirmation of your new employer), and the letter of agreement that the company is allowed to charge three monthly fees as replacement.

    Nobody have an answer maybe?
    I really don't know how to do it..

    How can I cancel it in a specific date?
    How can I know if I have 3 month or not?

    I have the cancellation letter and the new registration in my new country of residence.
    I'm not working currently, therefor I don't have confirmation of a new employer.
    Is that enough to hand in a cancellation letter and a new country registration form?

    And where can I find this form of allowing the company to charge three months (are those three months that I am still connected or extra months after the cancelation?) ?

    Hi,

    I'm leaving Germany in a few days and already have my Abmeldungsbescheinigung from the city. What do I have to do to cancel my o2 phone contract as soon as possible? I know that it should still run until next year, but I really didn't want to keep it since I won't be coming back to Germany. Could you please help me, o2_Jessica?!

    sorry for the late response. At the moment we have a lot of requests in the forum, so we try to answer as many and as fast as we can.

    You can just write it by yourself that you give your agreement of charging the money.

    It will be three further basic fees.
