I left Germany in July 2017. I cancelled my o2 contract in April 2017 in writing (with the knowledge that my contract would end in October 2017). As I received no acknowledgement of my cancellation I decided to also cancel by phone with the automated service. The robot told me it was done. I also called to speak to a staff member to ensure that everything was in order, and I was told everything was fine and that I would simply pay until October 31, 2017.
I have been billed every single month since then. I have not paid it as I do not live in the country and no longer have a bank account there. I have tried to reach them through the chat service multiple times, only to be transferred to different departments and inevitably have the connection lost. This is so frustrating. The contract has clearly not been used once since the date my it was supposed to end, yet I have to waste my time trying to chase staff members who will speak to me in English... Please, does anybody have a contact number for o2 where they offer customer support in English?
