I have been residing in  Germany since spetember 2013 for pursuing my masters. I wanted to cancel my contract Before leaving the country and so Went to a local o2 shop on and gave them my deregisration from city and the person in the shop faxed it from their office. I even questioned twice if anything else has to be done and the answer was no. I received a call in a day asking why have i cancelled and they would give me better offers,I told them that i would leave the country and so no use of the offers. I was hoping it would be cancelled. But until now my o2 online status does not show anything. I am currently in sweden for further studies and cannot make calls as I am not settled enough to have phone connection here. I have asked my friends in germany to revisit the shop again as they tried the helpline number and waited 45 minutes and of no use. i would like to cancel my contract ASAP and please guide me with the following.



Also important info is that my last month bill is due because i had to Close my bank account in germany so i need an option of how to pay my last month bill,do they have online forms like bank account or so or can i send in from friends account.



Please guide it is urgent.

what the guy in the shop did was a normal cancellation letter that he sent to o2.



What you need to do is make an extraordinary dismissal because of moving abroad.



The needed document you find attached with my answer here. And in the document is also everything mentioned that you have to hand in-



1. the deregistration letter of your place of residence in Germany



2. a registration letter of your new place of residence abroad or a confirmation of your employer abroad



3. agreement letter that o2 is allowed to charge 3 monthly basic fees as a replacement.



The address is also mentioned in the form you find here.



And in your invoices you find the bank details of the company.



When you transfer the money don't forget to mention your account number of your contract an so on, otherwise the payment can't be allotted.

I did as you told,in fact I sent a post from Sweden as well as faxed all my documents to O2 from O2 office with my friends help from Germany. This was done a 25 days back I still have no reply from O2. I sent all documents including my employment contract,residence permit in Sweden,city deregisteration from Stuttgart city alon with the form sent by you.But of no use I have no reply from there. I receive a bill of 13.99 (my plan is basic 9.99euros) euros for a network I am not using 0 data and no use at all.



Please help me with this issue never thought thus would create so much inconvenience when I first signed contract.



Please help me with this.it is so difficult when there is no proper platform to communicate with them. I want them to send me an email telling the status of my network.

I sent the post from sweden before you send me the form and so faxed all the documents again along with the attached document you sent me with the help of friend of mine from o2 shop in Germany Stuttgart vaihingen.The person in the shop faxed the document. The fax should have reached you as it was sent from O2 shop in Germany. I have a PDF of the attached form you sent me can I send in again using email,as I am on vacation now. 



I have mentioned my new address in the cover letter sent along with the post to O2 and also my old address is to where all the bills go it is recorded online.



Please do help me as I am just paying the bill with no useage.

I have posted the Cancellation form again to the adress specified in the website.



Please do take the needful action and send me an acknowledgement by email.I have been paying monthly bills for no useage. I started this issue on november 2016 and still has not completed. It takes 1 month for o2 to respond to me to tell they received documents.Please do help me with the above issue and respond ASAP. I need a confirmation that my accoubnt is closed forever and updated in my online account.

Thank you for your reply.



But then i received an email today saying, Thank you for continuing your service with us and contract not cancelled. Two emails saying the same message . It says they  are still continuing service.



Please answer why such emails keep coming inspite after all this trouble I have taken. You have helped me good so far please enquire why such emails keep coming I got 5 attachments of how the contract is all about and service,pricelist etc like an overview of contract.



Please help me wit the above. I am looking forward to my contract to be cancelled on 5th feb 2017.

Thank you for your help. I have received my monthly bill for february. I would like to know if there is any other procedures. I have removed my Simcard Three moths back (November 2016) when I moved to Sweden and so cannot receive any messages or call. Does my number automatically cancel or transferred. How does this work? Would i receive any bills keeping in mind that I have payed all previous bills.



Please let me know the final procedures so that I am totally relieved.

as I said your contract and everything is deactivated.



Of course it's normal that you get a last invoice then, for the last time the contract was active.



But everything is good. ☺️

The account was erminated and for the last month bill they charged me 4 euros for late payment and I did ask a friend o pay from her DB account with reference of my customer number. Te payment was made the next day the online bill was sent. I have proof of payment from friend account as pdf. Now I have Another bill as late payment for the 4 euros and it is another 4 euros. They got to be kidding, my friend made the payment the next day and it takes so long to reach you that too it is from a Deutsche bank account because I no longer have my account.It takes 8 Days to reach o2 I ahve no idea now yesterday I get this new bill. I would like to o2 to stop sending me such bills for late payment. I send them the next day and have pdf of e - statement . I cant change my bank number in my account as the account is deleted. o my friend pays with the reference of my Customer id. Please cancel this bill for late payment of the previous late payment.



Please take prior action.
