Hello, I left Germany on May 11 to go back to China. Before I left I sent a request letter to cancel my contract early and the certificate of de-registration by fax in an O2 shop. But I didn't receive the confirmation letter and also the status of my contract online doesn't change. I want to know if I cancel my contract successfully. Another problem is that I just realized that I still need to pay the basic fees for three more months, but my bank account would be closed at the end of June, do you know how to solve this problem and can the fees be charged from the bank account by once? Thanks in advance.

Hello Lillian,

you should have got an e-mail by the company saying:

Thank you very much for your letter. Please excuse our late response.

We regret you don’t want to use your contract any longer.

We will terminate it to June 5th, 2017, so there’s nothing for you to worry about.

Upcoming mobile phone expenses such as connections and the proportional basic fee will be charged up to this date. For this reason you will still receive invoices after the expiration of your contract. You can find the connection period on the first page of your invoice.

So, after that you'll get a last invoice, also with the 3 basic fees.

If your bank account will be closed by the end of June, we can change the settings, so that it won't be charged automatically, to manual transferal. Which means after you get the invoice you have to transfer the money by yourself to the company's bank account.

Do you want to do it like that?

Kind regards,

Jessica ☺️
