I would like to cancel my o2 mobile contract as I am moving out of Germany to India on 25-06-2019 due to health reason.
I have sent application letter via post for cancellation with below documents,
1. Contract Cancellation form
2. De-registration letter
2. One way ticket to India
4. Sick note from Indian doctor
5. Reference letter from Landlord
6. Reference letter from Parent
I would like to know how many days it will take to get the confirmation?
Because, I am closing my bank account soon and then it is not possible to pay 3 months basic rent.
Help from O2 wants to be appreciated.

Let me start by saying that the documents you sent in should be sufficient to terminate your contract due to you moving abroad.
When did you send in the letter with the documents?
The thing is that it takes several days not only for it to arrive at our postal address, but also until the cancellation of the contract is actually in our data system and in effect.
Please keep in mind that you will get at least one more bill after your contract has ended, so if your bank account will be closed this soon make sure to keep an eye on your Mein o2 account to check the bill, so that you can pay it by bank transfer.

I have sent documents on 17-June-2019 after getting de-registration certificate from German authorities.
I just want to make sure document has received by O2 , because once I move to India my Germany address will be not valid.
And again to send documents will be more difficult.

as of today, there has been no indication that your letter has arrived yet, just to be sure: did you send it to our customer service address in Nürnberg?

I can now confirm that your letter has arrived.
Since it's the weekend, there is no confirmation of your cancellation in our data system yet, but it should be implemented in the upcoming week.

the cancellation of your contract has now been confirmed for 28th June 2019.
So the upcoming bill in July should be the last one you receive ("Abschlussrechnung"), please check your Mein o2 account for that latest bill.
As soon as you see it, you may also pay it by direct transfer from another account (since you mentioned that your regular German account may be closed soon and direct debit may not work anymore).
In that case, please make absolutely sure to include your customer number as the reason for transfer so that our finance department can assign the sum to your customer account.
