My router broke for unknown reason. I came home after work one day and realised that none of the light on the Homebox was on. I tried to turned it off and on again, pressed reset, unplugged and then plugged in again. Nothing works, no lights on. As I don't speak German, it was impossible for me to get through the hotline myself so I went to the local o2 shop and asked the staff to make the call for me. The lady at the shop spoke to someone on the line and then told me that there was something wrong with my telephone line because they couldn't ping my router and that someone would call me again in the next few days. I'm not sure why they thought pinging a broken router would produce anything but failure. Was it a mistranslation perhaps? The lady at the shop speaks decent English and definitely understood that my router doesn't turn on anymore. I've been waiting for 3 working days and have yet to receive any phone call from them. Is there anything I can do in the mean time? What happens if this situation persists for weeks or months? Am I still being charged for a failing service?
