I inquired about an O2 tarife in an O2 shop in Berlin and was advise it was 29 pm with no phone of 31 with an iphone. So I took the iphone. Since then I have been receiving separate bills for the phone at 13pm in addition to the 30pm tarife. I am really annoyed and want out of the contract immediately but the lack of support english makes it impossible. I would never buy a phone of anything else on monthly instalments and want to pay it all off now - if anyone can advise how to do this? I would prefer to give the phone back and get out of the contact altogether but am pretty sure this is not an option and that Im stuck for 24 months.

Hi @petemckavanagh ,
thanks for your message. I regret that it came to a slight misunderstanding in one of our shops.
But I like to help you to understand your contracts.
It is true that your phone and your tariff are charged seperately.
But please be aware of the fact that you got a discount of 10,50 € on your tariff. This means, instead of 29,99 € you only pay 19,49 €.
So together with your rate for your phone of 12,50 €, you pay altogether not more than 31,99 €.
I hope you now understand better that you are not charged wrongly.
For further information, you can check everything on our website under "Mein o2" or in our "Mein o2"-app.
I hope I could clarify the issue for you. For further information, please do not hesitate to contact us here in our English community.
Loving greetings,
Tobias
