Hello O2,

I checked my account lately and I saw that I am eligible to extend my contract. I saw a good offer which is almost as good as my current tariff. There was this option on buying a new hand.

I would like to know: if I extend my contract (within the Kündigungsfrist) and choose a mobile phone, would the phone be immediately delivered to me and would I start paying for it before my contract ends?

dear jantigercat,

wether you extend your contract the new contract duration starts on the next day, you don't have to pay your old contract until it ends. The delivery of hardware needs usually upt to 5 workdays. You usually start paying for the your hardware with your next bill. If you have to pay a higher deposit it will be reckon up your time payment plan and the time payment plan will start later then.

    I’d like to ask one more thing: what about the Handy that I have been paying for for the last 19 months? Would the payment still continue for it even though I renewed my contract?

    yes, you have to pay the full amount for that cellphone.
