Hello. If I want to tranfer my number to another provider, do I get to keep the credit and unused data, or I loose them?

A MNP is not for free. o2 charges 24.95 Euro for this service and settles it with the existing credit.
If you have more credit on your card, you can get it back. After the MNP your prepaid card will be deactivated immediately, so you can not use it anymore.

So that means that I wouldn´t have a phone number to use for some days while it is transfered to the other provider? 

No! The interruption takes a maximum of one day during a porting.

Normally the porting starts in the night (after midnight) and ends in the morning. You will be informed about the steps.

o2 requires your approval (opt-in) for release your mobile number for porting. You will receive confirmation of the approval via SMS. And then you should contact your new provider. Not before!

I will ask a moderator for support. I think you will get the confirmation tomorrow. Please enter the mobile phone  number of your o2 prepaid card in your profile.

Here is an example: Please select "Profil bearbeiten" (profile edit)

Enter the phone number at the right place and confirm it with "Fertig". That's all

Thank you for the reply. I was only exploring my options, therefore I don't need my number approved for porting now. Can you please make sure that porting is not activated anymore? Please let me know.

Porting approval is free and will automatically be disabled after 60 days. A separate deactivation is not necessary.

As long as you do not move your number to another provider, nothing will happen.

Yes, but as I understood, if I charge 25€, the phone number is released by O2, and then I can't use it for a day. Even though the other company won't be there to "accept it".

You can, but you do not have to move your number. You can top up 25 euros and nothing will happen, you can top up 50 euros, 100 euros and nothing will happen. As long as you do not ask another provider for mnp.
