Kundigung abroad

Hello, by the end of January I have cancelled my contract and have sent the router back to the O2 hq and I’ve got the confirmation that the router was received. I didn’t got till today a confirmation that my contract is in fact canceled. I would like to know what is the status of this as I’m no longer in Germany and this was the reason for canceling the contract. Thank you

Is it a 2-year contract with annual renewal or a Flex contract without minimum contract duration?

Flex contracts can easily be terminated with 4 weeks' notice to the end of the month. 

If you have opted for a fixed-term contract, it can normally only be terminated at the end of the agreed contract period. In case of moving abroad, early termination is possible with a notice period of 3 months to the end of a calendar month. The decisive factor is the date of the move according to the registration certificate. Please read what evidence is required for early termination:
