Prepaid top-up

Hallo! I have an O2 prepaid number which expires on 17th February 2019. I am not in Germany right now but will be there in June, so I want to extend the it by doing a top-up. I tried the Express Aufladung option, but it did not work with PayPal or two of my (non German) Credit Cards. I have used these cards in Germany, both online as well as in person, so I'm wondering if I'm doing anything wrong. What is the minimum amount I need to top-up to extend the validity by 6 months? Do non German cards work?

The error message I get when I try to do the express top-up is not very specific (Leider konnte Ihre Aufladung nicht durchgeführt werden. Bitte versuchen Sie es zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt noch einmal.)

I would recommend you to send the money by bank transfer. I am not sure, if we accept foreign credit cards. For 6 month you need to pay a minimum of 1 cent to your account to keep your prepaid card running.

Apologies for the delayed reply. I could not attend to this task as I was travelling. Thank you for the instructions. I followed the bank transfer instructions and extended the validity of my pre-paid account.
