Notice of Cancellation of DSL, Sending back Router

Hi,

My DSL's End of contract is on 07/21/2019, I need to send a notice of cancellation and i need to send back the router.
Question is - Can i send the router on or after 07/21/2019? or should i send back once i receive the email regarding the next steps of cancellation.

    If you did not cancel the router separately, you can of course continue to use it until the end of the DSL contract.
