Hello,

I'm leaving Germany today and I would need to close my contract. I am not limited to a 2-year contract, and my contract can be canceled any month. Who should I contact and what documents should I provide? Thank you!

BR,

Janne

Hi @Janne.k‌,

when you do not have a run time contract you just have to write a normal cancellation and send it via post or fax to the company. That's it. ☺️

Keep in mind that the company will have to charge another basic charge from your bank account, so don't close until the contract is cancelled and until you got the final revision.

Kind regards,

Jessica

Hey and thank you for your reply.

Does the letter have a formatting requirement and to which address should this be sent?

As for my bank account I had to close the account already. How can I pay for the last remaining invoice as this cannot be directly debited from my account?

BR,

Janne

You do not need a special form for your cancellation.

Just write a normal cancellation with all the needed data and your contract will be terminated at the next possible date. ☺️

Kind regards,

Jessica

P.S.: if the company can not charge the money of your bank account there will be a chargeback and extra fees. You can also change the options of the company, that it is on "Check" so that you transfer the money by yourself.
