in my opinion you write a "normal" cancellation, that was wrong ☺️ If you leave germany you must write a extraordinary Termination because leaving germany, also o2 need a copy of the the officel document (logoff confirmation / Abmeldebestätigung) that you leave germany.

‌you can only a melded a week before you move or two weeks afterwards, not when you need to cancel the contract.

o2 cannot provide the service abroad so according to German telecommunication law I have  legal right to conceal with three months notice.

if you want to do this that way then you have to sign a relocation. For this log in at o2-hompage an order a relocation o2.de and if o2 says that they can not provide at your new adress you can cancel the contract by pay three month.
