"Ihre BIC ist nicht korrekt" message

While I was trying to enter my bank details (Commerzbank) for registering my phone for insurance (Versicherung), I get the error message "Ihre BIC ist nicht korrekt" even though the BIC is correct. Does anybody know how to resolve this issue? Is there a number I can call for assistance?
