How to register with Indian passport
An o2 shop should be able to register a starter kit with your passport.



You have only an indian passport?

For example, do you have a residence permit (eAT - elektronischer Aufenthaltstitel) from an authority? With this ID card, you can register a starter-pack in an o2 Shop or Mediamarkt/Saturn.

Yes, I bought a prepaid O2 SIM and tried registering on the web via video call. There I was informed that I do not need to call or call any of O2 shops. As I did not have any free cutomer care, I decided to go directly to O2 shop. I went to O2 shop at Marienplatz, Munich and the right way declined saying he can not help, he knows who can help in these cases. Now I am not sure if I have a mistake, which is O2 supports for validation.



And to clarify, I do not have any ID other than Indian IDs like passport etc.

I understand that it seems for you complicated.



But the only possibility that you have is to buy a new prepaid-card in one of our o2 shops. Our o2 shops have the possibility to activate your card at once.



For your prepaid-card that you already bought and for which you could not register yourself via video-identification: Please send us the invoice of the card and we will give you a credit on your new prepaid card.
