Dear Madam/Sir,



My current "Blue All-in M with 2 GB" contract ends on 12.9.2018. It costs around 30 Euro/month. The new cost for the same category is around 20 Euro/month with 10 GB. Are these the only differences?    



I am not sure if it is better to extend the contract or get a new one.



In case of extension do I pay the current fee (30 Euro/month) for 2 years? or just until 12.9.2018 then the new fee applied (20Euro/month). 



In case I cancelled the automatic renewal of my contract, is it possible to get a new contract with my current number?  



Is it possible to send the cancellation of the automatic renewal in English?

Do you have a second contract? 20€ for a Free M is for a "Partnervertrag", a second contract for one person.



Without this discount the Free M with 10GB costs 29,99€ per month.

I guess I get it now. All the prices in Handyvertrag für o2 Kunden: Smartphone-Tarife mit Kombi-Vorteil are discounted around 10 Euro.



I like to extend the contract with O2 Free S (I don't use internet that much). I can not do this online (there is no option for that) .  Shall I cancel then get a new contract? or there is better way to do this?

you don't necessarily have to cancel. You can also get in touch with our customer service and ask for a personal offer to extend the contract duration.

Actually I did, they said I only can extend with same category or above. This is not what I want.

we can not extend your contract now. The earliest time for that would be the 12th of June. In exceptional cases we can check if we can extend a contract earlier, but usually the normal time for that is 3 months before the normal runtime end.



At that point it will also be possible for you to check the contract renewal offers in your "Mein o2" account.



Referring your other questions:

When you extend your contract before the normal runtime end it starts right away. The old one is gone then and you do not have to pay the old amount until the normal end of your old contract.

Is it possible to send the cancellation of the automatic renewal in English?



You mean if you cancel your contract completely? That's up to you, but we can also check for an offer. Else, if you make a whole new contract it would be possible to port your mobile.



A normal cancellation of your contract you can also hand in in English, but just in case I would give you the hint to hand it in in German.



You could get an o2 Free S for an extension of your contract which would cost 19,99€ then per month.

Thanks for your reply. If I wait until 12.6 to do the extension, it will be too late for the cancellation option. I got a better offer now from another company but I am still thinking about it. One more question. Do you have the roll over option in all new contracts? by roll over I meant using the unused data volume in the next months.

you can also cancel your contract now in advance. Even though you handed in your cancellation it is possible to extend your contract then if you find a good offer. ☺️



And if it's not what you want you're still safe because you already canceled your contract.
