My contract Kündigungsfrist is about to end on 28.03.2019, and I am looking at the option of not extending the contract, which will end on June 2019.
I would like to know, how could I inform you not to extend my contract and then transfer my number with me to my new mobile carrier, if I found a new one.
What are the steps to take? Are there any frees that I need to pay to you or to the new carrier, when I transfer my number?

I regret that you like to end your contract. What is the reason for your decision? I will be glad to give you an attractive offer, if you like.
If you like to cancel your contract, we need a cancellation letter from you.
Please send a cancellation letter until 28th March 2019 to the following address:

If you would like to port your mobile phone number to another provider before the cancellation date (28th June 2019), we need to prepare your number for the porting process. In this case, please contact us here in our English community again. Then we will help you with this.
If you like to port your number after the cancellation, you just need to address your new provider.
In both cases, we will charge you with 29,95 € porting fee.

Thank you for the answer. I’m planning not to extend my contract because the offer that was given to me does not match my current needs.
Actually last week, I checked the option to extend my contract under my O2 page and there was an attractive offer (20 euros per month - 1GB something). I wanted to apply to that contract, but it was gone as of today.
I would really like to stay with o2, if possible because I am very satisfied with the service and the no nonsense billing system.

I checked your possibilities. Of course, I can offer you the tariff "o2 Free S" with an allnet- and sms-flatrate and 1 GB data volume for 19,99 €. But please be aware of the fact that you still have an additional eRetail-Pack of 10,00 € to pay until 29th June 2019 for your former hardware.
