Hello,
Last year I moved from Germany to Belgium and after obtaining all needed documents (in November), I sent the cancellation letter (Brief per Einschreiben) including the copy of my new work contract in Belgium, the copy of my Belgian residence registration, and the copy of my German Abmeldebestätigung to the following address:
Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co OHG
Kundenbetreuung
90345 Nürnberg
According to what I have read online, documents I have provided should be enough proof that I am indeed moving and also that should serve as a valid reason to cancel my contract.
Since from the day I send my letter (in late November) until now I have not received any response from o2 (I provided my email address as well as my new address in Belgium), I was wondering how to check if my cancellation request is received and is being processed. Also, I would like to know until when I will be charged for my mobile phone bill.
Thanks,
Jelena

As I can see you should hve received an e-mail where you're asked to hand in a letter of agreement that o2 is allowed to charge 3 monthly basic fees as a replacement.
After that they will finish your cancellation.
Kind regards,
Jessica

Thank you! I have finally received the email a few days ago. I just have one additional question. In the email I have received the following is specified: "Füllen Sie ganz einfach das Dokument aus und senden Sie es unterschrieben zusammen mit den Nachweiskopien an unsere Adresse..."
Is it then enough to just fill in the document that was attached (letter of agreement that o2 is allowed to charge 3 monthly basic fees as a replacement)? I am not sure what is meant by "Nachweiskopien" - my o2 bills are anyway paid via direct debit, so I assume that this document is enough for o2 to directly debit the specified amount as a replacement and no other transfer proofs or documents are needed.
Many thanks again,
Jelena

I have to admit that I also do not know what is meant with that.
In your data is only an entry made that they ask for the letter of agreement. That's it.
When you send everything just contact us here.
Kind regards,
Jessica

Many thanks for replying! I have completed the document (I have left the part with the German address out, because I do not have one anymore), signed it and sent it via post, so hopefully, it should arrive soon.
Again, thank you!
Best wishes,
Jelena
