When you want to cancel your contact to the normal runtime end you have to write a normal cancellation and send it to the customer care address in Nürnberg. Keep in mind that such a normal cancellation has to be done 3 months before the end. Otherwise the contact extends for 12 months more.



If you want an extraordinary dismissal because of leaving Germany you have to fill out a special form, and also hand in a deregistration letter of your place of residence in Germany, as well as a registration letter of your new residence, or a confirmation of your new landlord, or a confirmation of your new employer. The other thing is an agreement letter that o2 is allowed to charge 3 monthly basic fees as a replacement.

I'm also in the process of canceling my contract (I'm mailing off the form soon) but I have a different problem - I mistakenly closed my bank account but, because now my account is past due, I can't edit the information to change it to my new bank (I can only review it).



Is there some way that the flag can be removed (even if temporarily) so that I can update my information to pay the bills?

All the bank details of the company you find at the invoices. Please do not forget to mention your account number.



When everything is good after that you can change the bank details again.
