disclaimer: in the following text I don't mean to spit on O2 hotline guys, they've been really really nice during my phone calls (but unfortunately not as helpful as they are nice)

Due to O2 failure to activate my land line, (I'm currently paying O2 for providing me NO internet access!) I'd like to switch immediately to a new provider.

Long story short:

For 3 times I've booked with O2 a technician's visit to activate my dsl land line and for 3 times the technician didn't show up.

He didn't even leave a notice in my mailbox that could prove that he actually tried to reach me at my place (like the notices from the postmen).

Also, no one warned me about the technician not coming. They just let me waste 3 days at home waiting for the technician.

O2 was never able to tell me why the technician didn't come.

I'm aware that the technician works for Telekom, but I'm an O2 customer, not a Telekom's one.

If O2 let its customers to waste 3 days for a booked (BOOKED) appointment with a technician, then it's better to try another company.

During my phone calls I was told by O2 that the they were about to "escalate" (this is the actual word they used) their involvement in the case, but I couldn't notice any better support from them: after the third time that the technician didn't come, they let me wait another 3 days before they contacted me to book for the fourth appointment.

Even worst, I felt completely joked by the O2 hotline staff, because during my phone calls I've been provided with contradictory information:

one time, on my request, the O2 guy wrote a note for the technician with my telephone number information so that he could call me in case he was not able again to come (of course no one called me). Another time I've been told that O2 can't actually write any note for the technician or leave my phone number to him.

Anyway, after 3 times in a row that the technician didn't show up, I cannot accept anymore to book the technician for the FOURTH time.

The only solution is to unsubscribe immediately from O2, get the refund for the money already spent with O2, and switch to another company.

Can anyone please tell me how can I terminate immediately my subscription?

If I try to terminate the contract online, it says the the earliest available date is 30/06/2015

I should wait another 2 months without internet, and still paying O2?

Also, what's the procedure to ask for a refund?

thanks a lot, hope you can understand my delusion and frustration.

cheers,

andrea
