Hello,

I just received the hardware(on my company address) for DSL home connection. Should I require a O2 technician on site or I could set it up by myself?

Thanks,

Dan

You should be able to install and configure the hardware yourself. Only to activate the line, a tecnician is needed.

Stefan

The technician will activate the line on the 07.04.2015 between 8:00 - 12:00.

But he wont come to your flat. He will activate the line outdoor.

Regards

Stefan

Dear Stefan,
Is it necessary to install the hardware before the technician comes? I think we would only be able to configure it once we have access to the line...
It is not 100% clear to me what we need to do before the technician comes...
I also posted another post because I just received the O2 Homebox 6441 but there was no CD inside though it said there would be a CD!
Thanks in advance...

Please do not post in other threads that are already old and stay in your existing thread https://hilfe.o2online.de/router-software-internet-telefonie-34/o2-homebox-6441-ohne-cd-without-cd-and-technician-coming-in-3-days-466948.

You provide the router and when the technician is gone, connect the router to the TAE port and then set it up.
