contract DSL cancellation confirmation

I mailed a notice to cancel my DSL contract which goes from 21.09.2018 to 20.09.2020 to this address:

I want to make sure the cancellation notice was received. Will I receive a confirmation of the cancellation? I don’t want the contract to extend for another year. Is there a way to cancel it online?

    The receipt of the cancellation will be indicated on the next available invoice.

    The easiest way to cancel your DSL Contract is to sent a written cancellation letter to

    Important: Don’t forget to mention your DSL Fixed Line or customer account number.
