I have restarted and set everything to factory conditions, but it still happens! I can't get into contact with anyone. I don’t want to manually restart my router every 24 hours!

Here are some of the logs of what typically occurs

1970-01-01 00:00:32SystemNoticeWAN connection INTERNET_R_UMTS1:IPv6 connected

1970-01-01 00:00:32SystemNoticeWAN connection INTERNET_R_UMTS1:IPv4 connected

1970-01-01 00:00:15SystemNoticeSync time failed from BBOU

Ich habe neu gestartet und alles auf die Werksbedingungen eingestellt, aber es passiert immer noch! Ich möchte meinen Router nicht alle 24 Stunden manuell neu starten!

@zana

I remember reading somewhere on the German community there was a problem of 24 hour disconnects and the new firmware solved the problem. You can make a manual update check.

Can I also recommend you check your router and make sure under " Mobile Connection " is set to " Enabled " FULL Tutorial o2 HomeSpot Setup (English) | O2 Community (o2online.de)

Thank you. I have a gigacube, and unfortunately it says it has the newest firmware. The issue is not that it disconnects every 24 hours but that it doesn’t automatically reconnect.

Thanks for your reply you mentioned your using a gigacube .

Then this is a big problem.

The gigacube is supported on the Vodafone network. Did you use the gigacube on the Vodafone network at sometime in the past ?

To use O2 your suppose to use the Homespot router if your using O2 my Home M LTE / G5 tariff

Can you check to see what O2 tariff your on?

If your on the correct O2 my Home M LTE / G5 tariff O2 would have sent you a Homespot router.

Hi @zana

welcome to our English Community. Nice to meet you here.

Unfortunately, @ukguy is totally correct. As we do not support the Vodafdone GigaCube, we cannot give you exact solutions.

I still have one idea: Did you deactivate the PIN? Otherwise, you are asked to give the PIN after each disconnection.

Just follow the instruction that @o2_Solveig gives in this thread:

Unfortunately, the instruction is in German.

I hope I could be already of help to you.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

I have deactivated the pin and it still happens. How can I order the homespot router? It seems I can only get it if I get an internet package, but I already have one.

Hi @zana

thanks for your reply.

According to your wish, you just received an e-mail with the sender “o2 Newsflash”. You will find in this e-mail an offer for a new o2 Homespot 5G. Just accept your address.

You find here an instruction-video how to install the o2 homespot:

I hope you manage to use the o2 HomeSpot without any hindrances.

Loving greetings,

Tobias
