Deactivating a Data Plan and getting the balance back

Benutzerebene 1
I had the plan of 1.5 GB data and free calls within Germany. The plan was to end on 1st December, 2018. However the data limit was exhausted and so I wanted to do another recharge of the same plan. But since it was on 30th November, 2018 (before the expiry date) I could not proceed with the same plan. Instead I recharged a Data Pack of 2GB with 9.99 Euros. However, I do not like the call 1.5 GB plan. I have used 0 MB of the new Data pack (2 GB) and want to discontinue with this plan and reimburse my original plan of 1.5 GB and free phone calls.

Please let me know how to deactivate the data pack of 2GB so that I can get the balance of 9.99 euros back and recharge my original plan instead.

Hi @anindya448,

thanks for your message.

It seems to me that everything is already clarified.

We activated already the option "o2 my Prepaid S" on 3rd December for you.

So, is everything fine now for you?

Loving greetings,
Tobias

Hello Tobias,

Yes, the plan has been changed on 3rd December from Data Plan L to My prepaid S.
I had called the customer care on 3rd and they did it for me. Communicating with them was really hard for me since they only spoke only German, and I don't know it.

However, at the same time the balance (approximately 9.4 Euros initially after recharging the Data Pack L which got converted to the Prepaid S plan) was reduced although I had called to the customer care. Are there any charges for calling to the customer Care since the Data used from the Data Pack was showing as "0 MB" in the "Mein O2 Android App".

It would be nice if I get to know why balance was deducted. I can't call the customer care due to the communication problem although I have tried.

Thanks!
-Anindya.
Hi @anindya448,

thanks for your reply.

Of course, you are here in our English community and I am ready to help you.

After deactivating your o2 my Prepaid Data Pack L-plan you used the mobile internet before we could change the plan to "o2 my Prepaid S".

Therefore, you were charged with 0,99 € for using the Day Flat. You get this amount back from me.

I hope you are happy about this solution.

Loving greetings,
Tobias

Hello Tobias,

Thanks for the clarification and crediting back the balance. I am happy about that.

At the same time I would like to ask if there are any charges for calling the customer care?

Thanks
-Anindya.
Hi @anindya448,

thanks for your reply.

I am happy that I could help you.

Concerning the charges for the hotline: As the tariff "o2 my Prepaid S" includes an allnet-flate, the hotline number 0176 88855282 for our customer care Prepaid is totally free for you.

But additionally to the hotline, we are ready to help you here in our English community.

Is there anything else that you like to ask?

Loving greetings,
Tobias

Hello Tobias,

Thanks for all the support of last time. I have two questions this time again:-

  1. I have balance of 11.23 Euros in my and current plan would expire on 29-01-2019. Post that I DO NOT wish to recharge immediately for the month of February. But since my plan is of 9.99 Euros, I think the balance would be debited and the recharge would be done automatically. Can you help me to stop this automatic recharge? I want to STOP the automatic recharge after my plan expires on 29-01-2019.
  2. I have an O2 DSL Connection at my current address of residence and want to terminate the contract on February 28th (28-02-2019). How do I proceed with it? While taking the connection, I was told to drop a mail ONE MONTH before to the customer care for termination of the contract - this connection is on monthly contract basis. But would general customer care email ID work? Also, I have taken router on rental basis and would like to return the same. Where do I return it?
Kindly help me with the mentioned issues.

Thanks!

Regards,
Anindya
