Abfrage für bessere Internet-Geschwindigkeit auf DSL-Leitung!

Benutzerebene 1

Hallo,

Meine aktuelle Internetgeschwindigkeit: Downlink - 50 Mb/s und Uplink - 10 Mb/s

Aktueller Vertrag: O2 my Home M +XXXXXXXX

Vielen Dank,

And you are right about incoming line in home, it is the “right-side White cable.”:

@qwqwqw Is it a problem if you use only the TAE connector with incoming cable?

And what I must say

  • we can’t see your line parameters and errors. With a Fritzbox 7530 or 7590 is this no problem
  • The TAE cable connection is not good. Normally LSA TAE connector should been used.

  • you have get an ASSIA profile from the DSLAM. Only with good line parameters this profile is going away and you get more speed. ASSIA Profile you get too, if you often turn off your router. ASSIA see this as a problem from the line.

Now the big question. Can you think to buy a actual Fritzbox? How much rent you pay for the o2 Homebox?

Benutzerebene 1

The rent for O2 home box is 1.99 € Brutto

Please let me know how the situation can be improved.

Question: how does this ASSIA profile gets disabled? Is it automatic or technician has to do it?

If this is not improving, then shouldn't a technician come and fix the line for my house?

Hi @qwqwqw

This looks very much like a malfunction that our colleagues in our tec department should take a closer look at. Please make a preliminary check with our o2 my service app (the app does a preliminary check of your connection and creates a case ID, which our tec department needsand then please call the hotline, our colleagues will then discuss everything else with you.

Thank you and kind regards.

Matze

P.S Thanks joe for your great support 💙

Hi just to inform the latest update: today was the planned visit from the technical person to fix Internet but nobody showed up and the status of the ticket 8XXXXXX is already showing as closed and no improvement to network speed. Nobody contacted us and we are still waiting for the person to come and have a visit and fix our internet. This is really weird to close the ticket without paying a visit! Frankly the service of O2 at this point is getting more and more frustrating.

Hi,

I am stuck with 55/30 Mbps Speed , although contract says 100/20 Mbps..  Which is weird..

Also see past discussions: https://hilfe.o2online.de/inbox/conversation?with=367082

Here the support claimed that its due to too many resets and should improve after 2 weeks of no-resets. But sadly its still stuck to the same speed. Max I have seen is 60/30 during odd hours.

Hi @qwqwqw

My system tells me your router is back at  90 Mbit/s down and 39 Mbit/s upstream. I assume that you cannot achieve better performance with your connection. The cable length and attenuation is probably too high to realise a higher speed.

Kind regards Matze
