Apple ipad air 4 64gb wifi 2020. insuarnce


Dear O2 team, 

im really frustrated with the handy-Versicherung because I bought an iPad Air 4 64gb WiFi on 25.02.2021 with O2 in contract.

i want to insure this product but when I go to the link provided for mobile insurance and I enter details correctly in first page and in second page  it’s asking for IMEI no of the product where as my iPad is only WiFi without Lte… so my iPad Air 4 WiFi has only serial number and it’s not having IMEI number and I’m unable to proceed further.! I asked one of the O2 representative in online chat. She assigned a dummy IMEI no to the product. What happens if I continue further with dummy IMEI .? Will the Telefónica insurance be able to identify my IPad in any case of damage or lost with this dummy IMEI without typing my serial number in the insurance registration?
i want to buy this insurance for the product as soon as possible because you provided only 30 days.

The insurance set up is using a dummy IMEI.! I want to know this thing 

What happens if I continue further with dummy IMEI .? Will the Telefónica insurance be able to identify my IPad in any case of damage or lost with this dummy IMEI without typing my serial number in the insurance registration?

i Applied for insurance for my iPad via o2 video call customer care and she made a wrong insurance for my iPad on March 2,2021 where my iPad is iPad Air 4 2020, WiFi.

but she made insurance iPad Air 4 2020 LTE. She entered a wrong details in insurance XXXXXX47 .

so another insurance I booked via online “handy-Versicherung” link which hv@telefonica insisted and the insurance number is XXXXX49

so i mailed hv@telefonicainsurance.de to cancel insurances on my iPad and they have cancelled the both insurance on my iPad. I got Kündigungsbestätigung for both insurance 

1)XXXXXX47

2)XXXXXX49

When I went to O2 shop  at “Dresden Waisenhausstr 8”- the person asked for details and I told him my problem regarding insurance and he simply said we cannot help you go and ask online. The shop executive’s reply” I can’t help you, you go now when time is 16:32” there is another customer waiting outside made me feel low( I made appointment at  17.03.2021 16:00 and they allowed me inside at 15 min late,I waited outside till they finish the work with another customer) this reply from them made me feel low.)When I asked online only the customer executives had made these mistakes. I am confused to whom to ask about this . Please consider these requests
1)please remove the IMEI attached to my iPad because my iPad is having only serial number(because it is only WiFi model).

2)please make a new insurance for my iPad as I bought my “iPad Air 4 2020 WiFi “on 25.02.2021.

my iPad serial number is XXXXXX

I’m afraid we cannot change the details of the Ipad (there is a IMEI in the details, which might also be a different ID because of the missing cell chip).

We also cannot set-up a new insurance via this channel, change or re-activate an old one.

The best way would be to try out setting up an insurance over there:

We can merely book an insurance, much as we can book Sky Ticket, but the insurance company is a different entity with its own databases and processes :frowning2:
