Switch to O2 Starter Flex from M Boost plan after contract period

A direct switch isn't possible. You would have to reorder the o2 Mobile Starter Flex and cancel the o2 Mobile M Boost. Please bring your phone number with you on this form: internal porting Form Switching time after the end of your contract. The o2 Mobile Starter Flex costs €9.99 after canceling your old plan.

Hi, I was on my way to cancel the M contract, to later switch to the Flex plan. But yes, I’d like to order the new prepaid contract and take my phone number. If there is an easier / more automatic way to do this, it would be great. 🙂 Thanks for the assistance.

I just ordered a cancellation of my previous contract. Since I guess it would take a month for the termination to go in effect, ​@Bumer could you please suggest if I should buy the prepaid SIM now or after the termination & should I apply for the number porting now or after termination / after I have the prepaid SIM (I ask because I guess the prepaid SIM would come with its own number, and then for a while I’d have two… it’s a bit confusing). Thanks for your assistance.

I'm very pleased that Bumer was able to help you so quickly and effectively. Did you get all the information you needed to switch?

I think so. I cancelled my current contract (ends on 07.08.), and bought a new Starter Flex set to be activated on 01.08. I’ll apply for the number carryforward then. Hopefully one week should be enough to make sure the number is carried forward right after my current contract ends.

The number portability will probably take place on August 8th and the o2 Mobile M Boost will run for a day longer.

Hello, the day has come and I intend to submit the internal forwarding form. Just one question (which I didn’t pay attention to but has become apparent from an email),

You can only receive a combination benefit if a corresponding donor contract [2nd contract] is in place.
