Hi,

I bought a new O2 pre-paid sim card today.  The agent in the store said it would take 10-20 minutes to activate and connect, but 8 hours later I still have no signal.

Is it possible that something has not been correctly processed?

Hello @MrTony, that is not so good when you still do not have a signal.

Is your prepaid card active but you do not have a signal at your address or is the card itself not yet activated?

Have you tried to activate the SIM card via our activation page with the SIM number printed on the card?

Best Regards,

Gerrit

How do I call the prepaid hotline when my phone does not work because it has no signal?

The whole reason I reached out this way is because I (still) have no signal so I’m unable to make calls!

I haven’t tried on your activation page.  The assistant in the store did that for me and said it would take 5 to 10 minutes to become active.

I’ll try your activation page

OK, it looks like the in-store activation didn’t work, as I have just been through the process in your link and I now have access.

Thank you for your feedback, @MrTony, I am glad to hear that you could activate your SIM card via our website but this has not been a nice experience when the activation via our shop failed in your case.

Best Regards,

Gerrit
