iOS Voicemail issue after getting replacement eSIM

Dear O2 team,

I recently upgraded to iPhone 17 pro and switched from physical SIM card to eSIM.

Unfortunately, after the configuration, I noticed that the phone app shows a persistent voicemail notification, which I’m unable to remove.

Reading on the forum I’ve seen that other users fixed the issue by activating Visual Voicemail.

Can you please activate the Visual Voicemail and reset my mailbox?

I tried everything else, but nothing worked.

Many thanks!

Hello @spaceGirl , welcome to our community 😊

Do you have a prepaid-card or a postpaid contract? For a postpaid contract we can switch on Visual Voicemail for you. Otherwise it’s not possible for us to change the setting.

Kind regards, Rebecca

Hello @o2_Rebecca,

Thank you for your message.

I have a prepaid card.

The notification issue that I'm experiencing is the one shown below.

Do you have any suggestions on how I can get rid of the notification?

many thanks

Hi @spaceGirl ,

Unfortunately, with a prepaid card, right now the only solution is to switch back to a physical SIM card in order to get rid of the red dot.

I am very sorry that we do not have any other solution for this at the moment 🙁

Kind regards, Rebecca
