I need to cancel O2 HomeSpot

I need to cancel my O2 HomeSpot contract as soon as possible, but I can't find out how. The 017688855222 is German only and Mein O2 (German only too but I can use Google Translate) everytime I try to login it says it has technical problems. I actually was never able to access it in more than one and a half year as a customer.

Anyway, how can I do it and do it fast? Any online form? Should I go to an O2 store? I am in Köln, so a recomendation of a place to go would be appreciated, if there is no way to do it online.

Thanks

Moin,

try https://info.o2online.de/kuendigung/

First log off from Hilfe.o2online.de

don’t use the web site translation from google, that could cause the problem.

Hello @davidfmendes,

the way schluej suggested is exactly the right one, you can canel online using the form he linked :-)

Regards,

Lars

Hi,

I sent the form as suggested almost a month ago. Got one email saying portability was confirmed (I'm changing to a different provider) for today (September 14th), but until now I did not get any other communication. I have the Homespot equipment here and I did not get any instructions about what to do with it. I suppose O2 will want it back (and I don't want to keep paying for it). How should I proceed now? I want to make sure all my business with O2 get closed.

thanks

Dear @davidfmendes ,

your community account is not linked to any record, so I can't check for you at the moment. Has the porting worked in the meantime?
If it's a rental router and not a purchased product, you can register the Homespot for return via the returns portal link.

Kind regards,

Andrea

Hi,

The new internet provider installed its equipment and it is working. I suppose it means the porting has been done. But I would feel much more comfortable if I had some sort of confirmation from O2 that I am not being charged anymore. I wonder if some confusion might have happened with prting because my subscription was to Homespot, which is, in a way, a mobile phone number and not a landline. Is there a way to get a confirmation that my account has been closed and that I will not be charged anymore?

Now about the router, I'll try that link, thank you very much

About this, maybe my account is linked to my other email address. Should I post here so you can check, or maybe send me a private message so I could reply to it with that info?

I have just responded, sorry for the delay, I don't get notifications for these messages, that's why it takes me long. I'll try and pay attention these days so we can resolve this issue. Thank you very much.

Dear @davidfmendes ,

thank you for your reply in the private messages.

Your Homespottarriff will end on April 12th 2023.

This is the earliest possible termination date.

You can send your Homespotrouter back to us over the Return portal.

Kind regards,

Andrea
