Google Pixel 10 Pro Camera Defekt

Hi O2 Community,

I extended my existing Contract with a New GP10Pro added. I received the Phone last Saturday, but after using it for 24 Hours, i noticed a persistent Camera Defect while zooming and taking Pictures and/or Videos. It shows black and white Lines that's persistent whenever i Zoom in or out for both the Front and Back Cameras. I reformatted it to factory setting, but it didn't helped. So at the end i decided to Send it back with the intent yo receive a replacement Device. I just received the Email form the Retour but it doesn't say if i will receive a replacement. Can someone from O2 help and confirm if i will receive something? or they will just cancel my order plus the Contract extension that i made? i also already activated a new Esim for this Unit? will it get cancelled too? and will i receive a Refund for everything?

welcome to our o2 Community 😀
We have already received the mobile phone back and the order has been cancelled.
If you also wish to cancel the contract extension, please send in the cancellation notice that was attached to the email dated 20 September 2025 entitled ‘Summary of your new O2 contract terms and conditions’.
You can then order a new mobile phone and extend the contract again.
No new hardware will be sent to you automatically.

Hi Daniela,

I already sent an Email to Cancel my Contract Extension. I will just have to wait for the Reply and will try to make a new extension with am additional Phone again right?

Thank you for contacting us. Which email address did you send your cancellation to? Did you clearly state that you wish to cancel the contract extension and not terminate the contract?

Did you receive a confirmation of receipt from us for your email?

That's right, if the extension has been revoked and reversed, you can look at a new offer.

Hi..

In the End, everything is somewhat resolved. I made a new Contract Extension and ordered a Phone to avail the Combination Rabatt. Although, the Contract Extension that i had before was 10 Euro cheaper than what i am offered now. Is still possible to get the cheaper contract? I find it a bit unfair, because it wasn't my fault that the Phone was faulty, and that instead of sending a replacement, they made it more complicated by me having to cancelling everything and repeating the Extension again. 

Any Help or Explanation is appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

that is a not so nice turn of events, when you had to return the defect phone and also revoke your contract extension if its discount was linked to the Pixel 10 Pro.

Did you make the new extension via our hotline or in one of our shops or online via your customer account?

In the first and last case a revocation is possible, but whether a revocation of the smartphone is necessary depends on whether the disount is connected to it.

This you can see in the e-mail from us detailing the conditions of the extension.

Hi Gerrit,

I did everything online and email. And the Representative i exchanged email with said, first i need to file for a cancellation of the Extension, and to wait until I can do the Contract Extension thru Mein O2 app again, which i followed. Surprisingly, the offer that i choose, which was exactly the same as the first time (Mobile M 2024) became 10 Euro more. And i find that odd and disappointing. Although, i still pushed through and ordered the same Phone Google Pixel 10 Pro. 

I just want to know if still possible to get the same discount, or it would make everything complicated again?

@ynnos A. To undo the extension would need a revocation, without us being able toi give a guarantee that the next extension offered by our programme would be with a larger discount.

I could take a look, the first extension had a discount linked to the instalment plan of the Pixel 10 pro, whereas the second does have a discount not linked to the hardware.

A discount we can only set up with a new contract or a contact extension.
