Delete old esim's


Hello,

How can I delete/remove esims from my account that are not used any more?

I am sure I had this as an option previously but now I cannot find it anywhere.

Hello @malarek ,

I assume you mean that you still have multi- or datacards under your contract that are running as esims and aren’t in use by you anymore?

Hey @malarek,

You should be able to remove eSIMs in "Mein o2" :)  Can you take a look there? Try “SIM verwalten” or “Tarife & SIM Karten”.

OK I have gone there…..now what, there are just more options? I have clicked through each one and cannot see the option to remove any

Sorry for the late response. If you haven’t been able to delete the cards you’re not using anymore here’s the complete path to take in Mein o2:

  1. Navigate to SIM verwalten or Tarife & SIM Karte (depends on wether you own a tariff with the connect option or not)
  2. Choose the card you want to delete
  3. Tap Gerät entfernen

Step 2 doesn’t make sense, if I go to my o2 account and select the sim tariff (as we have dsl and 2 mobile phone contracts) I get the summary screen, then I can select Tarife & SIM Karte, from there I do not have an option to select an e-sim. If I select  SIM verwalten there are no sims listed.

Oh sorry, i described the way to go when using the App. Here in the browser you navigate to SIM-Karte sperren & entsperren and next you choose SIM-Karte deaktivieren.

Hmm, that’s indeed not optimal. Try deleting cookies and browser history and allow pop-ups for the o2 website. 

Alternatively you can use the Mein o2 App.

Have you been able to delete the unwanted eSims by now? Has deleting cookies and the browser history helped, or were you able to it via App?
