4G and 4G+ constantly switches and breaks internet

Hello,

I have a problem with internet connection on my mobile phone, because I have 4G all the time, but very often my phone tries to connect to 4G+. In that moment when it connects to 4G+ after one-two seconds it switches back to 4G.

When this happens I have no internet in that moment and it is really frustrating because it happens pretty often.

Please advise me what can I do.

Thank you.

Dear @Besni ,

first of all, welcome to our forum. Nice that you have found your way to us. :-)

In order to help you with your request, I need your mobile phone number or your customer number and your four-digit personal customer ID/code. I'll write a private message from o2_Support to you.

Please get in touch with me again here in the post when you have answered the private message!

Which mobile phone do you use?
Does the change happen always and everywhere or only at one place (ok, you are not allowed to walk around that much, but maybe you test it once while shopping or something similar)?

Do you have any questions about using our community? Then have a look here at Neu in der o2 Community? Die wichtigsten Funktionen und Hinweise auf einen Blick. There you will find all the information you need to use!

Kind regards,

Andrea

Dear @Besni ,

I can’t see any problems around your contact adress, at the moment. Do you have these connectionproblems only at your homeaddress or at other places, too?

Which Smartphone do you use?

Your operatins system is up-to-date?

Kind regards,

Andrea

Hello Andrea,

My phone is Xiaomi Note 8 Pro and Android OS is up to date.

I have noticed this only at my home address, because I have Internet breaks when this switch happens.

Thank you for your support.

Hi @Besni,

thanks for your reply.

I regret that the mobile internet always breaks off.

Did you already try to switch the network connectivity of your device for a few minutes to 3G and then again to LTE?

I hope that this suggestion is helpful for you.

Loving greetings,

Tobias
