Hello O2 Community,

I have an issue with my O2 Home Box, The WLAN LED is off. I have restarted the router 2 times and pressed the button WLAN/WPS but it doesn’t work. Could you please help. Thank you.
Edit o2_Bianca 10.06.25 10:33Uhr: Moved from Mobilfunk zu Hause & HomeSpot to English o2 Community Broadand & Landline

You can also use the user interface of the o2 Homebox instead of the WLAN button to switch the WLAN function on or off. See the manual for your router.

If this does not work either, you can try a reset to the factory settings using the recessed reset button. See manual

Hello, thank you for your reply. However as the WLAN LED is off the Wifi is not detected on my devices that’s why i am unable to access the O2.spot. Even though the Internet and LTE are on.

This is not an o2 Homebox.

Connect your PC or notebook to the router using a LAN cable. No WLAN is required for this.

I have not yet read that you have carried out the factory reset and what the result was.

Thank you very much I have also tried to connect using the LAN cable but something went wrong.

I did also the factory reset but it’s not working.

That was so weird because I was working with the Wifi in the morning and suddenly the WLAN LED switched off 😕

What exactly went wrong? Inserting a plug into a socket is actually not difficult. I can't imagine what exactly went wrong and your description of ‘something’ is not exactly enlightening.

Perhaps the router is simply defective. If you have rented the device from o2, contact o2 customer service and ask for the defective device to be replaced.

Hello, @Lulu260623,

nice that you have found your way to us and that you are here - welcome 🤗

I see that you have already received excellent support from blablup. Thank you very much. It's a
pity that all measures have not been successful so far. Did I read correctly that it worked without problems until this morning and then all
of a sudden it didn't?

Best regards
Daniela

Hello @o2_Daniela,

Yes correct, it was correctly working during this morning and I was in a meeting when suddenly I lost the network.

I have checked the router and found that the WLAN Led is off so I restarted the router many times, follow the manual and even carry out the reset factory as recommended by @blablup but nothing worked and the WLAN LED didn’t switch on. Only the Internet and LTE LED that are on.

Hello @Lulu260623,

if you could also not have a connection using LAN cable, you can contact our technical department via our hotline or via our live chat to have the router checked whether it is defective.

Best Regards,

Gerrit
