router Fritz 7590


Good morning, I have received the router with the password and username to enter in router system. But I did not get the welcome letter with the username and password to configure my router in internet. How many days after router arrives should I get the welcome letter?

@NeiJunior When should your connection be switched?  Are you already a mobile phone postpaid customer with o2?

Hi Joe, I don’t know if I understood your first question, but actually, I have the same connection(100MB DSL) and I am just trying to change my router. I have got the new router on Monday, but I didn’t have the username and password to install it. If I am not wrong I would receive a welcome letter with these information, but till now no. And yes, I am postpaid customer.

thanks for your reply. 

As you only switch your router, your username and password stays the same. 

Nevertheless, a confirmation with your current username and password should come in the next days. 

Did you already manage to install your new router with your old username and password?

Hi Tobias, Actually I did not remember which are these information. Is the username my email? Because the password should be one of my passwords. But if a letter comes in a few day I can wait.

If you haven’t receive the letter you can also check our webite.

You will find all the access data you need to set up your new router connection in the online customer center "My o2"

at www.o2.de/mein-o2 . Please select the menu item "Vertrag Verwalten" in the "Tarife & Optionen" section to access the telephony access data for your router.
