New Homespot without connection


Hello: 

 

I have received my new HomeSpot and I have connected everything as per instructions (including the video on youtuve) However the LTE light is always in red color and binking. When I go inside to manage the device, I can see that there is not conection at all, I haven’t received any SMS and when I insert the SIM card on my mobile is not reconized. 

 

Note: When I bought the package, there was a mistake and only a SIM card was sent, after, they sent all together. I have tried with both sim cards but nothing...

I would like som help as soon as possible, PLEASE!

Hello @taccarelli and welcome to our o2 community :-)

I am sorry to hear there are issues regarding using our o2 Homespot. I assume you already entered the PIN for the SIM card? If you always had a good receptoin of the mobile network at the address you want to use the HomeSpot please have a look at our Livecheck. After entering the address you can see if there are any known issues with the network.

If you are unsure rgarding the coverage of the mobile network you can check the coverage online.

Or maybe this is already solved and the HomeSpot is working as you expect it to? :-)

I have the same problem here. Insert SIM, entered PIN code, restarted the HomeSpot, activated the SIM card, restarted again (just in case) but I still get the LTE led blinking red and no internet connection. Please help! I don't even speak German so calling customer service is not an option!

Welcome to our community.

As my collegaue wrote: if you are unsure regarding the coverage of the mobile network you can check the coverage online.

Maybe you can post a screenshot here (but please delete all personal data like your address on the picture etc) that would be helpfull for troubleshootung.
