New building and DSL connection

Hi O2 team,

recently I made a new “Mietvertrag” and in that flat I want definitely a Internet connection.

However, since the flats and the houses newly built and we are the first ones who are moving in to that building/flat, the “Verfügbarkeit” Test on this address says I don't have any DSL connection but only LTE based connections.

However, I prefer to have DSL connection and I think it is possible but since the address is completely new, it seems that it is not registered in the system somehow.

Thus, could you please check how I can do?

Also, I have a Fritzbox(7560 PE) that was from 1und1, is it possible to used in the connection with O2?

Thanks!

Hello @ssitank and welcome to our o2 community :-)

If a new house is built it has to be connected to public services like water, electricity and also phone and cable lines. Do you now, if this house is already connected to either a phone or a cable network? Under some circumstances house owners may have signed an exclusive contract with a provider for this house.

Regards,

Lars
