Mein O2 login for DSL not possible and cannot reset password


Good morning,

first of all I apologize for writing in English but I am not very fluent in German. I have subscribed for DSL with O2 at the beginning of January and I have also set a username and password to access Mein O2 (not the one I am using for the forum). Everything was in order but last week by mistake I have inserted a wrong password a couple of times and my account was blocked. Now when I try to login it asks me to reset password. Unfortunately I could not do it: it asked me for the DSL O2 phone number which I didn't have. So I decided to wait for the email from O2 with the phone number associated to my DSL contract, which arrived at the beginning of the week. I tried to reset the password with that number but it is not possible since it is not recognized as a proper number. My DLS should have been activated yesterday (the Deutsche Telekom technician was there yesterday to set up the connection!), so I would have expected it to work.  The emails from O2 also contained a link that should show me the status of my DSL-Auftrag, which is also not working (see attached image).

I even tried to create a new Mein O2 account with the number I was given in the email but also this did not work.

The current status is that:

- I have no access to Mein O2 (except for the subscription I did today in order to write on the Forum) and I have no means of resetting my password.

- The telephone should have been activated but is not working (maybe this is related to my account being blocked?) and - I have no means to properly configure my DSL modem/router since the information are contained on the Mein O2 area.

Is there a way to reset the password and gain again access to Mein O2?

Issue solved.



On Sunday I received another email from O2 stating that the line was active since Friday.



I tried again to reset the password for Mein O2, providing my new telephone number associated with the contract and it finally worked.

Hello. I have taken a new O2 DSL connection but now when I am trying to configure it I am being asked for a Zugangs-PIN. I have not got any such PIN. Please let me know from where can I get it? I got a mail confirming that my connection was activated on 27th Aug (originally it was activated on 10th Aug but not sure why this reactivaion). I have been waiting for almost 1.5 months since I have purchased the connection. Please help. The info light on my o2 homebox 2 is red which is due to missing Zugangs-PIN i guess. My registered email id is abhinavgupta.de@gmail.com.
