DSL ACTIVATION

Hello, 

 

I have been informed that I had to receive a technician today between 8.00-12.00. However the technician did not appear while I paid for this service 50 Euro! The DSL connection does not work while I also start to pay for it!! Call service only in German and only work during the day while I work.

I also do not know where to find the DSL number.

My system tells me you haven already spoken with my colleagues from activation services

and they arranged a new technician appointment for nov 7th, timeslot 8 am to 12 am.

First Billing starts after final activation, so at the moment you are not paying for your DSL.

@o2_Matze I thank you very much for your kind response. Yes, they gave another appointment and I hope it will be solved this time. However, this appointment was arrenged by the staff at the shop since there was no language option at hot-line, call center neither at the app.

@o2_Matze  The internet connection has been settled by the technician of Telekom this morning at the right time. I thank you very much for your consideration.

However, we have another problem that the lady I share the flat have a fixed phone (belongs to another company), SOS device and TV which started not working since we have only one connection possibility. May I kindly ask you for any advise?

I am sorry, If the lady you share the flat with uses an other provider for her connection she has to call her provider and talk to the customer service hotline, they will create a trouble ticket to check 

the DSL and landline connection.  Or did i get it wrong and she is using your connection for her TV and phone equipment?

@o2_Matze  thank you for your kind response. Yes, the first one is right. She has a contract for her fixed phone with another company and the other things related to her.

Ok. I will try to make her contact with the other company then. My only hesitation is if they appear, and try to do the same thing other way around, to connect the fixed phone to their line. If this happens, in this case, I may lose the connection.

Could you give us a brief update?  Your line looks fine, is your roomates DSL still broken, or could her line be fixed, too?

The problem has been solved today. I use my DSL and my flatmate now uses her phone and TV.

Dear @o2_Matze ,

I hope all is well with you. I bought DSL+Hanndy promotion from O2. If you remember, I had a problem with the lady I shared the flat. She has a flat telephone line from other company. I called the technician from Telekom and he cut her telephone connection while was connected my O2-DSL line. She called the other company yesterday. I do not know how they will solve the problem but my hesitation is if they cut my DSL connection while connecting her flat telephone line back again. Because the technician from Telekom told us the flat is suitable just for one company line.

So, I would like to inform you that I still have the same problem which I was informed as it was solved.

P.S. I went to one random O2-Shop in town. And the responsible person at the shop told me about this option:

Two thoughts. First: The homespot is a great product, but it is not possible to take or to make phone calls via o2 Homespot, you can only establish data connection to surf the internet. 

Second: Your DSL contract has a 24 month contract duration, so it is not possible to cancel to contact before the end of your contract duration period.

At the moment you DSL looks good, so please could you tell us if the telekom tec guy could fix your roomates connection?

I thank you very much for your kind and informative response. The problem has been solved today from the other company itself (I hope!). They gave another router to the lady and now the telephone of her is working while I have my internet connection from O2 which I was expected.
