Cancellation of O2 Contract!!!


Dear Service team,

 

I am customer of O2 Blue All-in S package from 11.11.2013. Actually I am a master student here in Germany and right now I will be finishing my course in the month of October and will be going back to my home country once for all and won't be coming back again. I would like to know what are the documents that I need to submit to Telefonica for the cancellation of the contract? Also how much do I need to pay for the cancellation?

Hello Vin1985,

 

in order to cancel your contract out of good will to an earlier date, we require copies of the following
documents:

- a deregistration certificate of your present place of residence
- a notification of your new, foreign domicile
- alternatively a confirmation of your employer or landlord

All we need is your approval for us to charge you the all-inclusive basic fee for 3 months.
The exact amount of the fee will be notified in a separate letter.

 

I will send you the form you just fill in. Afterwards you send it back to us including the required documents.

Thanks a lot for your email. I got the required form for the cancellation. But I have a small doubt.

 

The first document (de-registration from the city) can be produced.

 

The second document (a notification of your new, foreign domicile) - What exactly do you need as a proof for this? Would a flight ticket be enough to prove this or something else, because I am going back to my home country.

are you able to confirm, that you will live there? (registration of a public authority) I don't know whether my colleagues will accept only a flight ticket.

I am citizen of India and we don't have any system such as registration with a public authority. However I can submit a copy of my bank statement which has my permanent address. Is this acceptable to you?

Thanks for your information.

Now, my cancelation is an 'early termination' by leaving Germany before the end of the handy contract.

So, I need the form for cancelation.. The guy who I talked on the phone said I can find the document online but I could not find any.. such a pain.. So, please let me have the form for termination.

for example, you mean your "o2 my Handy smartphone contract" or your "mobile phone contract" (o2 Blue, All-In etc.)?

I have sent the request for cancellation of the contract with effect from 21.10.2014 two weeks back with all the supporting documents. I haven't received any acknowledgement of receipt of the letter till now. Today I received an email for the payment of bill from 14.10 to 15.11. I hope the contract has been cancelled from 21.10.14.

Hi Bianca,

 

Thanks a lot for the acknowledgement of receipt of my cancellation documents. But, I have received a bill recently for the period from 15.10 to 14.11 for Euros 17.98. I hope the base fare would be adjusted towards my final settlement i.e. 3 times base fare, Euros 45. Thanks a lot for your service and I enjoyed a lot.
